Biography:
Andres is a master's student in the data science program, concentrating in biostatistics, and a prospective master's candidate in the Latin American & Caribbean Studies program after completing his master's in Fall 2026. His research interests intersect with public health and data science, specifically in treatment plans for addiction disorders in Latin America. Aside from his academics, he works as a data analyst in the Office of Analysis and Information Management at Florida International University. During his free time, he travels around the world or spends his time doing graphic design work or reading.
