Biography:
Emilie Lemieux is a current medical student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a background in biomedical engineering. She has a focus in studying medical disparities in vulnerable populations due to lack of resources and provider biases. Outside of her clinical training, Emilie works with these populations at LGBTQ+ clinics and community-based health activities for the local Latinx community.
