Biography:
Fowzia Mohamed Hussein a public health professional with strong knowledge in epidemiology, community-based health programming and project planning and management. She currently serve with the Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) as an Assistant Community Health Manager and iCCM Focal Point, where she supervise and train community health volunteers and family health workers, support high-quality iCCM/eCBHFA service delivery, coordinate community health activities and ensure timely monthly reporting and follow-up. In this role, Fowzia contribute to strengthening frontline service delivery through mentoring, on-the-job coaching and quality assurance. Previously, she worked with the Ministry of Health as a Public–Private Partnership Coordinator, supporting health sector engagement and key priority program areas. Earlier, Fowzia served as an Assistant of Director Community Health Department/Assistant of Obstetric Fistula, providing supervision, technical support and capacity building within community and facility-based efforts.
