Biography:
Dr. Francois is a physician, epidemiologist, and clinical research professional with extensive experience spanning clinical medicine, infectious disease epidemiology, and global clinical trials. With a background in both Nigeria and the United States, He has over five years of experience in clinical research and more than three years of direct clinical practice, managing diverse patient populations and complex medical conditions. Dr. Francois currently serves as a Senior Research Consultant and CSTE Fellow with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, where he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve public health data systems, conduct advanced data analyses, and develop data visualization tools that support evidence-based decision making. Previously, he worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) within the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination, where he served as Interim Safety Officer for multiple international tuberculosis clinical trials. In this role, he led medical safety reviews, adverse event assessments, pharmacovigilance reporting, and the development of safety monitoring plans to ensure compliance with FDA and international regulatory standards.
