Biography:
Megbaru Debalkie is a PhD researcher in Tropical Medicine at University of Brasília and an Assistant Professor at Injibara University. He holds an MSc in Clinical Tropical Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine from University of Gondar. His research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, tropical medicine, climate-informed outbreak forecasting, spatial epidemiology, and explainable machine learning for neglected tropical diseases and public health surveillance.
