Biography:
Michalina Jadick, BA is currently a 3rd year medical student at the Boston University (BU) Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. In collaboration with the BU Global Health Program and Bridges to Malawi, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of rural Malawian communities, she has worked in Malawi supporting multiple global health initiatives with local healthcare workers. Before medical school, she was a clinical research assistant for the Harvard Aging Brain Study at Massachusetts General Hospital studying early markers of Alzheimer’s disease; this work served as foundational experience for conducting community-based research.
