Biography:
Nikhil Fernandes is a student researcher affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine through the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI). With a focus on health equity and global health development, he strives to gain early exposure to tackling socioeconomic disparities prior to college. Through the CHEA Project, he has contributed to community outreach initiatives and the development of culturally tailored public health education materials aimed at underserved populations across Connecticut.
