Biography:
Tambe Elvis Akem a Medical Epidemiologist and Public Health Physician with broad field and technical experience in disease surveillance, immunization, outbreak response, and health systems strengthening across Africa and other fragile settings. He has led and supported interventions for polio, Mpox, malaria, and vaccine introduction, while contributing to operational research and policy-relevant evidence. His work integrates epidemiological analysis, humanitarian response, and strategic program delivery with international partners. He has a strong interest in leveraging AI, digital innovation, and data systems to strengthen immunization, improve outbreak preparedness, and advance equitable health outcomes in resource-limited and high-vulnerability contexts.
