Age-Related Disorders are health conditions that become more common as individuals grow older due to natural biological aging, lifestyle factors, and accumulated environmental exposure. Aging leads to gradual decline in cellular repair mechanisms, immune function, and organ efficiency, increasing vulnerability to chronic diseases. Common age-related disorders include cardiovascular diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and vision or hearing impairments. Cognitive decline and reduced mobility often affect independence and quality of life in older adults. Hormonal changes and weakened immunity also contribute to higher risks of infections and slower recovery. Early diagnosis, healthy nutrition, regular physical activity, mental engagement, and preventive healthcare can significantly delay the onset or progression of age-related disorders. Advances in medical research and geriatric care aim to promote healthy aging, extend lifespan, and improve overall well-being in the aging population.
