Rural public health addresses health challenges faced by populations living in remote and underserved areas. These communities often experience limited access to healthcare services, shortages of trained professionals, inadequate infrastructure, and higher rates of chronic disease. Public health initiatives focus on strengthening primary care, telemedicine, sanitation, maternal health services, and health education. Addressing rural health disparities improves equity, reduces preventable disease, and enhances overall population health.
